YTB National Convention
Last August, my wife and I had the great pleasure of attending the YTB Travel Network National Convention in St. Louis, MO. It was an amazing 5-day event, attended by 11,000 members and guests of the YTB Travel Network. We overwhelmed the America’s Center, such that, this year’s Convention has been moved to the Edward Jones Dome for the August 6-10, 2008 extravaganza! We’re expecting 20,000 or more in attendance, this year! Please view this news clip to get a glimpse: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mh6O1YEDwLY
During the 2007 event, we were able to visit many of the important sites of downtown St. Louis. Especially, we recommend the St. Louis Arch and Museum. “The Gateway to the West” is just that. You’ll enjoy the view over the Mississippi River and the city. The city’s shops and restaurants were a pleasant sidebar to the convention activities, as well.
If you love to travel and adventure, St. Louis and the YTB annual convention should rank high on your travel agenda. We’ll see you there!
